GENESIS OF FIGITS
In the beginning God created a metaverse for ferrets, or the ferretverse as it is also known. Then God created the Figits - a family of feisty, fidgety ferrets to inhabit the ferretverse and expand the creative boundaries of ferretkind. Then God gave ferrets free-will and consequently all mayhem ensued. The ferretverse lies at the intersection of the AI and Web3 digital worlds and the frantic, frenetic world of ferrets. After generations of unchecked ferret free will it is now populated with a diverse range of Figits, each with their own uniquely feisty personality and fidgety habits.
digital ART Collection
Each unique piece in this exclusive digital art collection of only 101 Figit ferrets was individually conceived and created using a range of generative AI and graphic design tools, authenticated on the Polygon network. Each art creation is permanently connected to a unique NFT listed for sale on the OpenSea NFT marketplace. This initial Figit release of 101 digital art images represents a broad cross-section of the highly diverse Figit population and is divided into 10 different types of Figit ferrets, namely; Holy Figits, Famous Figits, Space Figits, Rich Figits, Fighting Figits, Historical Figits, Naughty Figits, Sporty Figits, Nerdy Figits and Everyday Figits.
While it is true that each Figit is unique and special in their own way, some Figits are simply much cooler than others. Of course, which ferret is the coolest lies in the eye of the beholder. Below is my collection of 101 Figit Ferrets in the form of low-res 200x200 png images. The official collection of authenticated hi-res 1080x1080 images are only available via purchase of the NFT on OpenSea. Many of these individually created digital art pieces are ideal to purchase as your own profile picture (PFP). Moreover, a release of 6666 Figit PFPs at 512x512 resolution will launch soon in July. However these first 101 digital art NFT pieces will have much higher scarcity than future PFP NFTs.
The floor price is only 0.05 ETH for most NFTs with 65% of Figits set at a fixed asking price on a first come first serve basis. The most popular 35% of Figits have been listed for auction with a starting bid price reflective of their popularity and Figit type. You can purchase the entire NFT art collection at The Figits on Opensea. To find out the price of any Figit ferret below simply click on the image to go to its individual Opensea page.
